West Bank

In January 2026, we launched a program in the West Bank, beginning with Palestinian herding communities in the Northern Jordan Valley. Children in these communities face severe barriers to education due to ongoing harassment and instability. Yet many of them go on to pursue higher education, focusing mainly on medicine, veterinary science, and engineering. Early mathematical literacy is often the first step in this remarkable journey.

Beyond strengthening math skills, the program fosters joy, curiosity, and self-confidence. The weekly visits by our volunteers provide children with a much-needed respite from daily hardship and uncertainty.

ConnectingMath provides tablets, internet access, hundreds of interactive activities for every grade level, and personalized educational support tailored to each student’s pace and needs. Equally important, the program brings together children and volunteers in a peaceful, supportive, and welcoming environment.
