Program

ConnectingMath is a supplementary mathematics program for children ages 5 to 12. It features hundreds of interactive activities that enable children to explore Mathematics and develop analytic thinking in a gamified, low-pressure environment.

Our pedagogy emphasizes experimentation and self-discovery, alongside practice and competence. Students work on supplied tablets, often in pairs, encouraging collaboration and peer learning. The program integrates smoothly into existing school schedules, requiring as little as one hour per week. It supports both independent learning and classroom instruction.

Unlike approaches that rely heavily on rote learning and repetitive drills, ConnectingMath promotes deep conceptual understanding. The program is designed to complement and empower educators in both schools and communities, and is offered free of charge to our participating partners.

Foundation

ConnectingMath is built on the award-winning digital mathematics activities of Matific, a global math education leader whose programs are used by millions of children in 50+ countries. Matific has generously made its content available for this nonprofit initiative.

Our programs operate in local languages and are aligned with national curricula. Recognizing the infrastructure realities of rural schools and communities, the programs are designed to function with limited or no internet connectivity.
