Kenya
In January 2026, we launched a year-long program in eight schools in Kenya’s Machakos County. This pilot helps us to refine our delivery model, gain practical field experience, and establish sustainable implementation practices.
Participating schools dedicate one hour per week for students to engage with the program. These weekly sessions strengthen motivation, confidence, and engagement with mathematics, creating an empowering effect that extends well beyond each activity.
A local program coordinator, funded by ConnectingMath, supports each school by providing devices, internet connectivity, teacher training, and ongoing logistical assistance.
Student progress is continuously monitored to improve individual learning outcomes and enhance the overall educational experience. Each student advances at his or her own pace, receiving personalized support when needed.
